The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is
creating a new city in Abu Dhabi. The city, called Masdar, will
rely entirely on solar and other renewable energy sources, and will be
built with a sustainable, zero carbon, zero waste ecology. Masdar will
be home to 50,000 people and 1,500 businesses, primarily commercial and
manufacturing facilities focusing on environmentally-friendly products.
In partnership with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT),
they are also creating a new science and technology university within
the city called the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology.
Here's where
you come in:
We're working with the Masdar Institute
of Science and Technology to help them find talented people to make a
move to Masdar and work at the university. Specifically, we're
looking for:
- A
Director of the Office of Sponsored Research, who will provide
the centrally organized administrative, business, and financial
functions related to grant and contract administration.
- Technology
Transfer and Licensing Professionals, who will foster
commercial investment in the development of inventions and discoveries
flowing from the research at Masdar Institute through licensing of
intellectual property.
- A
Director of Business Development, who will manage relationships
with the government and industry partners in order to attract resources
to Masdar Institute.
Compensation is commensurate with experience, along with a generous
housing allowance and great benefits.

PeopleSoft Technical developer for this outstanding organization.
The job is on the MD side of DC (cool place).
Here's what
the position entails:
- Working with user community interpreting,
designing specifications representing the requirements.
- Creating technical specifications based
on the existing functional specification document for use in
maintenance and development tasks
- Leveraging technical experience for solid
recommendations on efficiency in problem solving
- Researching technical issues, such as
online modifications with the User Interface (UI), Batch processing

process
- Performing code development as needed
Here's what
we need from you:
- 3-5 years PeopleSoft design and developer
experience
- Experience with SQR, PeopleTools,
PeopleCode, and other utilities required to perform the assigned duties.
- Experience with PeopleSoft 8.X; prefer
9.X experience.
- Solid functional experience in a minimum
of one of the following functional module areas is required: Learning
Solutions Management, financial aid, student records, academic
advisement, student financials, campus community, or degree audit.
Nice to have
experience in any of the following modules:

Sr Java Developer/Architect –
Looking for a Java Guru – Columbus, OH
Our client, a
leading program management and operations services firm providing
solutions to public entities, is seeking a qualified and energetic IT
professional to support their growing operations in Canton, OH.
This hands-on role will work within the development group with a team
of developers in developing court case management applications in both
Java and Uniface.
They need you to:
- Analyze and solve problems in existing
systems
- Take part in the design, development,
quality assurance, implementation and support process
- Analyze, review and rewrite database
objects to increase operating efficiency and/or adapt to new
functional requirements
- Assist in producing data model design
specifications from functional requirements
- Develop and unit test all code assigned
by their manager, and assist in the completion of system testing
- Deliver unit tested code in accordance
with development methodologies and standards
- Provide technical expertise and guidance
of database design to team members
If you're qualified, you'll have:
- Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer
Science, or related field
- 5+ years' experience in the IT industry
working in the area of product and/or application development
- 5+ years' experience in
design/development of complex applications on J2EE/multi-tiered based
projects
- Good understanding of the key
architecture considerations/issues associated with J2EE application
infrastructures
- Strong understanding of Service Oriented
Architectures (SOA)
- Experience with Web Services, XML, and
WSDL
- Development experience on technologies

- Experience with UML and use case
definition
- Experience with Open-Source Technologies,
